    Our Mission

To organize all departments of labor engaged in the construction industry either in repair, alteration or demolition, into one compact body known as the Houston Gulf Coast Building and Construction Trades Council.

We also encourage and maintain fraternal relationships with existing, recognized central bodies. We also see to it that there is an equitable adjustment of all disciplines between employers and employed.

Our Specialty

Houston Gulf Coast Building and Construction Trades Council has the safest most skilled and qualified construction force available in the entire city as well as the surrounding area. We are equally committed to our members, contractors and our clients. This is not just a one sided commitment. It is our loyalty that keeps them from leaving us.

Our values are strong and our success is displayed every day in the form of our results. Union labor produces 38% more square feet per man hour which is a major advantage with us. Long term value of using our trained construction workers helps save your project from delays and mishaps. Our staff is the safest, best trained and well qualified.

Shake hands with us and let’s get to some productive work!
